what happen to my cheque

hi, last week on 30th May, i do some cheque deposit into the machine.i forgot that date one of my cheque is earlier than the cheque's date.on Monday this week, i check on cimbclicks, they come out the short form "HS DEP RET" on my account details plus with the service charge RM10.I asked cimb Kepala Batas for this problem,they explained that was a problem on my cheque.they also inform me that a notice letter will be post to my house and i need to return back to bank to redeem the cheque.may i know how is my cheque's status now?
